Sukta 5.44
श्येन आसामदितिः कक्ष्यो मदो विश्ववारस्य यजतस्य मायिनः । समन्यमन्यमर्थयन्त्येतवे विदुर्विषाणं परिपानमन्ति ते ॥
śyénā āsām áditiḥ kakṣyò mádo viśvá-vārasya yajátasya māyínaḥ | sám anyám-anyam arthayanty étave vidúr vi-sā́ṇaṃ parí-pānam ánti te ||
พลังอันโผบินดุจเหยี่ยว (śyena) เป็นของพวกเขา; อทิติ (ความไร้ขอบเขต) เป็นสายรัดของพวกเขา; ความปีติเมามายของพวกเขาเป็นของผู้เป็นที่ปรารถนาทั้งปวง ผู้ควรบูชา ผู้เป็นนายแห่งมายาอันก่อรูปด้วยแสง. พวกเขากระตุ้นกันและกันให้เดินทาง; พวกเขารู้จักผู้มีเขากว้าง ผู้เป็นเครื่องดื่มอันโอบล้อม—อยู่ใกล้พวกเขา.
