Sukta 5.2
एतं ते स्तोमं तुविजात विप्रो रथं न धीरः स्वपा अतक्षम् । यदीदग्ने प्रति त्वं देव हर्याः स्वर्वतीरप एना जयेम ॥
etáṃ te stómaṃ tuvijāta vípro ráthaṃ ná dhīráḥ svápā atakṣam | yadīd agne práti tváṃ deva háryāḥ svárvatīr ápá enā́ jayema ||
บทสรรเสริญนี้แด่ท่าน โอ้อัคนีผู้กำเนิดกว้างไกล—พราหมณ์ผู้มีแรงดลใจได้สรรค์สร้างอย่างผู้รู้ ประหนึ่งช่างทำรถศึก หากท่าน โอ้เทพเจ้า ทรงรับไว้ด้วยความยินดีแล้ว ด้วยบทนี้ขอให้เรามีชัยเหนือสายน้ำผู้ทรงสุริยะ—ธารอันสว่างไสวแห่งญาณหยั่งรู้
