उत स्वानासो दिवि षन्त्वग्नेस्तिग्मायुधा रक्षसे हन्तवा उ । मदे चिदस्य प्र रुजन्ति भामा न वरन्ते परिबाधो अदेवीः ॥

utá svānā́so diví ṣantu agnés tiǵmāyudhā rákṣase hántavā u | máde cid asya prá rujanti bhā́mā ná varante paribā́dho ádevīḥ ||

และขอให้พลังอันกึกก้องของท่านสถิตอยู่ในสวรรค์—เป็นอาวุธคมกล้าของอัคนี เพื่อสังหารรากษัส (Rakṣas) แม้ในยามปีติเริงรื่นของท่าน รัศมีก็พุ่งพล่านออกมา; เหล่าผู้ขัดขวางอันมิใช่เทพย่อมไม่อาจต้านทานแรงกดดันที่โอบล้อมได้
