Sukta 5.1
अबोधि होता यजथाय देवानूर्ध्वो अग्निः सुमनाः प्रातरस्थात् । समिद्धस्य रुशददर्शि पाजो महान्देवस्तमसो निरमोचि ॥
ábodhi hótā yajáthāya devā́n ūrdhvó agníḥ sumánāḥ prā́tar asthāt | samiddhásya rúśad adarśi pā́jo mahā́n devás támāso nír amoci ||
โหตฤ (Hotṛ) ผู้ถวายบูชาได้ตื่นขึ้นเพื่อพิธีบวงสรวงแด่เทพทั้งหลาย; อัคนี (Agni) ตั้งตรงด้วยใจผ่องใส ยืนอยู่ ณ ยามอรุณ. พลังอันสุกสว่างของผู้ถูกจุดไฟปรากฏแก่ตา—เทพผู้ยิ่งใหญ่หลุดพ้นออกจากความมืด.
