तन्नस्तुरीपमध पोषयित्नु देव त्वष्टर्वि रराणः स्यस्व । यतो वीरः कर्मण्यः सुदक्षो युक्तग्रावा जायते देवकामः ॥
tán nas turī́pam ádha poṣayitnú deva tvaṣṭar ví rarā́ṇaḥ syasva | yáto vīráḥ karmaṇyàḥ su-dákṣo yuktá-grāvā jā́yate devá-kāmaḥ ||
ขอให้ความเพิ่มพูนอันเร่งเร้าและรวดเร็วนั้น จงเกื้อหนุนเราเถิด โอ้ผู้หล่อเลี้ยง; โอ้ทวษฏฤ (Tvaṣṭṛ) ผู้เป็นทิพย์ ขอทรงปรากฏแก่เราอย่างรื่นรมย์ไพศาล. เพราะจากท่าน วีรบุรุษผู้เหมาะแก่กิจการย่อมบังเกิด—ผู้มีปัญญาเฉียบคม มีศิลาบีบคั้นที่เทียมพร้อมแล้ว (yuktagrāva) และใฝ่ปรารถนาเทพทั้งหลาย (devakāma).
