महि क्षेत्रं पुरु श्चन्द्रं विविद्वानादित्सखिभ्यश्चरथं समैरत् । इन्द्रो नृभिरजनद्दीद्यानः साकं सूर्यमुषसं गातुमग्निम् ॥
máhi kṣétram purúś candráṃ vividvā́n ā́dit sakhíbhyas cárathaṃ sámairat | índro nṛ́bhir ajanad dī́dyānaḥ sā́kaṃ sū́ryam uṣásaṃ gātúm agním ||
ครั้นรู้แจ้งแดนอันกว้างใหญ่และแสงสุกใสอันมากมายแล้ว เขาก็ตั้งเส้นทางร่วมกันเพื่อสหายทั้งหลาย อินทราผู้ลุกโพลงเจิดจ้า ได้ให้กำเนิดร่วมกับพลังของมนุษย์: สุริยะและอุษา (รุ่งอรุณ) หนทาง และอัคนี—เจตจำนงศักดิ์สิทธิ์ผู้ชี้นำ
