अमित्रायुधो मरुतामिव प्रयाः प्रथमजा ब्रह्मणो विश्वमिद्विदुः । द्युम्नवद्ब्रह्म कुशिकास एरिर एकएको दमे अग्निं समीधिरे ॥
amitrā́yudho marútām iva práyāḥ prathamajā́ bráhmaṇo víśvam íd viduḥ | dyumnávad bráhma kuśikā́sa érire éka-eko dáme agníṃ sám īdhire ||
ดุจผู้ถืออาวุธต้านศัตรู ประหนึ่งมารุตะ (Maruts) ในกระแสพุ่งไปข้างหน้า—ความเคลื่อนไหวแรกเกิดแห่งพรหมัน (brahman) เหล่านี้รู้ทั่วทั้งสัจจะของการกระทำ. เหล่ากุศิกะ (Kushikas) ชูมนตร์พรหมันอันสว่างไสวและมีชัย; แต่ละคนในเรือนภายในของตน จุดอัคนี (Agni) ให้ลุกไหม้อย่างสมบูรณ์ รวมเป็นเปลวเดียวแห่งพลัง.
