Sukta 3.22
अग्ने यत्ते दिवि वर्चः पृथिव्यां यदोषधीष्वप्स्वा यजत्र । येनान्तरिक्षमुर्वाततन्थ त्वेषः स भानुरर्णवो नृचक्षाः ॥
agné yát te diví várcaḥ pṛthivyā́ṃ yád óṣadhīṣv apsv ā́ yajatra | yéna antárikṣam urvā́ ātátantha tveṣáḥ sá bhānúr arṇavó nṛcákṣāḥ ||
โอ อัคนี ความรุ่งเรืองของท่านที่อยู่ในสวรรค์ ที่อยู่บนแผ่นดิน ที่อยู่ในหมู่โอสถ และในหมู่น้ำ—โอ ผู้ควรแก่การบูชา—ด้วยสิ่งนั้นท่านได้แผ่ขยายอากาศกลาง (antarikṣa) อันกว้างใหญ่. รัศมีอันลุกโชติช่วงนั้นเป็นดุจมหาสมุทรแห่งแสง มีนัยน์ตาแห่งมนุษย์ (nṛcákṣas) และเปิดทัศนะของเราให้มุ่งสู่ระเบียบอันไพศาล.
