Sukta 3.14
मित्रश्च तुभ्यं वरुणः सहस्वोऽग्ने विश्वे मरुतः सुम्नमर्चन् । यच्छोचिषा सहसस्पुत्र तिष्ठा अभि क्षितीः प्रथयन्त्सूर्यो नॄन् ॥
mitráś ca túbhyaṃ váruṇaḥ sahasvo’gne víśve marútaḥ sumnám arcan | yác chóc iṣā sahasas-putra tíṣṭhā abhí kṣitī́ḥ pratháyan sū́ryo nṝ́n ||
มิตระ (Mitra) และวรุณะ (Varuṇa) พร้อมทั้งมรุต (Marut) ทั้งปวง ขับขานสรรเสริญพระกรุณาแด่ท่าน โออัคนีผู้ทรงพลัง. เมื่อท่านยืนด้วยเปลวเพลิง โอโอรสแห่งพลัง ท่านแผ่ขยายแดนที่อยู่อาศัยของเรา ดุจสุริยะที่ทำให้มนุษย์แผ่กว้างสู่ความเต็มพร้อมแห่งตน.
