Sukta 3.14
द्रवतां त उषसा वाजयन्ती अग्ने वातस्य पथ्याभिरच्छ । यत्सीमञ्जन्ति पूर्व्यं हविर्भिरा वन्धुरेव तस्थतुर्दुरोणे ॥
dráv atāṃ ta uṣásā vājáyantī agne vā́tasya pathyā́bhir áccha | yát sīm añjánti pū́rvyaṃ havírbhir ā́ vandhúreva tasthatúr duroṇé ||
ขอให้อุษัส (Uṣas: อรุณรุ่ง) และพลังผู้เร่งเร้าแห่งชัยชนะ จงรีบเร่งมาหาท่าน โออัคนี ตามหนทางแห่งวาตะ (vāta: ลมหายใจ/ลมชีวิต). เมื่อพวกเขาชโลมท่าน ผู้โบราณ ด้วยเครื่องบูชาแล้ว เขายืนมั่นในเรือนดุจม้าคู่เทียมที่คานรถ.
