अग्निर्धिया स चेतति केतुर्यज्ञस्य पूर्व्यः । अर्थं ह्यस्य तरणि ॥

agnír dhiyā́ sá cetati ketúr yajñásya pūrvyáḥ | árthaṃ hy asya táraṇi ||

อัคนีด้วยปัญญาอันดลใจ (ธิยา) จึงตื่นรู้และรู้แจ้ง; ท่านคือประทีปดั้งเดิมแห่งยัญญะ เป็นสัญญาณนำทางของพิธีบูชา. เพราะท่านพาข้ามไปและสถาปนาเป้าหมายแท้ของมัน—ทำให้ความหมายและจุดมุ่งหมายแห่งเครื่องบูชาบังเกิดผลจริง.
