Sukta 2.23
न तमंहो न दुरितं कुतश्चन नारातयस्तितिरुर्न द्वयाविनः । विश्वा इदस्माद्ध्वरसो वि बाधसे यं सुगोपा रक्षसि ब्रह्मणस्पते ॥
ná tám áṃho ná duritáṃ kútaś caná nā́rātayas titirúr ná dvayā́vinaḥ | víśvā íd asmād dhvaráso ví bādhase yáṃ su-gopā́ rakṣasi brahmaṇas-pate ||
ผู้ที่ท่านคุ้มครองอย่างดีนั้น ความทุกข์ระทมย่อมไม่แตะต้อง ความชั่วร้ายย่อมไม่มาถึงจากทิศใด ผู้จู่โจมเป็นศัตรูย่อมข้ามผ่านไม่ได้ ผู้มีใจสองหน้าก็ไม่อาจล่วงเลยได้ โอ พรหมณัสปติ (Brahmaṇaspati) ท่านขับไล่ความรุนแรงอันคดเคี้ยวทั้งปวงให้พ้นจากเขา—ผู้นั้นที่ท่านพิทักษ์รักษาไว้เป็นอย่างดี
