Sukta 10.89
इन्द्रो दिव इन्द्र ईशे पृथिव्या इन्द्रो अपामिन्द्र इत्पर्वतानाम् । इन्द्रो वृधामिन्द्र इन्मेधिराणामिन्द्रः क्षेमे योगे हव्य इन्द्रः ॥
índro divá índra īśe pṛthivyā́ índro apā́m índra ít párvatānām | índro vṛdhā́m índra ín médhirāṇām índraḥ kṣéme yóge havya índraḥ ||
อินทราเป็นเจ้าแห่งสวรรค์; อินทราปกครองแผ่นดิน; อินทราเป็นนายแห่งสายน้ำ—แท้จริงอินทราเป็นนายแห่งขุนเขา. อินทราอยู่ฝ่ายพลังที่เจริญงอกงาม; อินทราอยู่ฝ่ายปัญญาอันหยั่งรู้ (medhā). ในความเกษม (kṣema) และในการประสานงาน (yoga) ผู้ควรถูกอัญเชิญด้วยเครื่องบูชาคืออินทรา—อินทรา.
