Sukta 10.89
प्र ये मित्रं प्रार्यमणं दुरेवाः प्र संगिरः प्र वरुणं मिनन्ति । न्यमित्रेषु वधमिन्द्र तुम्रं वृषन्वृषाणमरुषं शिशीहि ॥
prá ye mitráṃ prā́ryamáṇaṃ durévāḥ prá saṃgíraḥ prá váruṇaṃ minánti | ny àmítreṣu vádham indra túmraṃ vṛ́ṣan vṛ́ṣāṇam aruṣáṃ śiśīhi ||
ชนผู้มีเจตนาร้าย ผู้เข้าทำร้ายมิตร(Mitra)และอริยามัน(Aryaman) ผู้ทำลายพันธสัญญา(saṃgirá) และผู้ลบหลู่วรุณะ(Varuṇa)—ต่อปวงศัตรูผู้ไม่เป็นมิตรเหล่านั้น โอ้ อินทรา(Indra) จงวางและลับคมอาวุธอันพุ่งพลันของท่านเถิด—พลังแดงฉานอันเกรียงไกรของ “โคอุสภะเหนือโคอุสภะ” เพื่อฟาดฟันความเป็นปฏิปักษ์ให้ราบคาบ.
