Transliteration
índraṃ vayaṃ mahā-dháne índram árbhe havāmahe | yújaṃ vṛ́treṣu vajríṇam ||
Translation
พวกเราขออัญเชิญอินทระในยามได้มาซึ่งทรัพย์อันยิ่งใหญ่ และขออัญเชิญอินทระในยามเริ่มต้นอันน้อยด้วย—พระองค์ผู้เป็นสหายร่วมเทียมในศึกกับเหล่า วฤตระ (Vṛtra) ผู้กีดขวาง ผู้ทรงถือวัชระ (vajra) อันเป็นพลังสายฟ้า.
