उत न ईं मरुतो वृद्धसेनाः स्मद्रोदसी समनसः सदन्तु । पृषदश्वासोऽवनयो न रथा रिशादसो मित्रयुजो न देवाः ॥
utá na īṃ marúto vṛ́ddhasenā́ḥ smád rodasī́ sámanasaḥ sadantu | pṛ́ṣadaśvāso’vánayo ná rathā́ riśā́daso mitráyújo ná devā́ḥ ||
และขอให้มรุต (Marut) ผู้มีกองทัพอันเติบใหญ่ จงนั่งร่วมกับเราโดยมีใจเป็นหนึ่ง พร้อมกับฟ้าและแผ่นดินเถิด ผู้มีม้าลายแต้มด่าง ดุจรถศึกแห่งพงไพร ผู้กลืนกินผู้เป็นศัตรู ผู้เทียมด้วยมิตรภาพ—ขอให้เทพเหล่านี้จงเข้าประทับนั่ง
