प्र बोधयोषः पृणतो मघोन्यबुध्यमानाः पणयः ससन्तु । रेवदुच्छ मघवद्भ्यो मघोनि रेवत्स्तोत्रे सूनृते जारयन्ती ॥
prá bodhayóṣaḥ pṛṇató maghony ábudhyamānāḥ paṇáyaḥ sasantu | révad uccha maghávad-bhyo maghoni révat stótre sūnṛte jāráyantī ||
ตื่นเถิด โออุษัส (Uṣas) จงปลุกผู้ให้ทั้งหลายผู้ทำให้เต็มเปี่ยมด้วยความอุดม; ส่วนพวกปณิ (Paṇi) ผู้ตระหนี่ที่ไม่ยอมตื่น จงให้พวกเขาถอยร่นสูญไป จงผุดขึ้นด้วยความมั่งคั่งเพื่อผู้ใจกว้าง โออรุณรุ่งผู้มั่งคั่ง; จงมั่งคั่งเพื่อบทสรรเสริญด้วย โอผู้มีวาจางาม ให้ถ้อยคำของเราร้อนอุ่นและมีชีวิตยิ่งขึ้น
