Sukta 1.122
उत त्या मे यशसा श्वेतनायै व्यन्ता पान्तौशिजो हुवध्यै । प्र वो नपातमपां कृणुध्वं प्र मातरा रास्पिनस्यायोः ॥
utá tyā́ me yaśásā śvetanā́yai vyántā pā́ntāuśíjo huvádhyai | prá vo napā́tam apā́ṁ kṛṇudhvam prá mā́tarā rāspinásyā́yoḥ ||
และขอให้เหล่านั้น—เพื่อเกียรติยศของข้าพเจ้า และเพื่อความก้าวหน้าที่ขาวสว่าง—เข้ามาใกล้ โดยมีการคุ้มครอง เพื่อให้อาวศิชะ (Auśija) จะได้อัญเชิญเรียกเขาทั้งหลาย. พวกท่านจงเตรียม ‘บุตรแห่งสายน้ำ’ (Apāṃ Napāt) ไว้เพื่อตนเอง; และจงนำ ‘มารดาทั้งสองแห่งราสปินะ’ (Rāspina) ออกมาข้างหน้า—พลังทั้งหลายผู้แบกไว้และหล่อหลอมการเติบโตของแสงภายใน.
