Sukta 1.117
युवं श्यावाय रुशतीमदत्तं महः क्षोणस्याश्विना कण्वाय । प्रवाच्यं तद्वृषणा कृतं वां यन्नार्षदाय श्रवो अध्यधत्तम् ॥
yuváṃ śyā́vāya rúśatīm adattam maháḥ kṣóṇasyā aśvinā káṇvāya | prá-vācyaṃ tád vṛṣaṇā kṛtáṃ vāṃ yán nārṣadā́ya śrávo adhyádhattam ||
โอ อัศวินทั้งสอง ท่านได้ประทานผู้ส่องประกายให้แก่ศยาวะ เพื่อมหา-กโษณะ และเพื่อกัณวะ. โอผู้ทรงพลัง กิจของท่านนี้ควรถูกประกาศยกย่อง—เมื่อท่านได้สถาปนาศราวัส (śravas, เกียรติยศอันได้ยิน) ไว้เหนือ นารษทา ทำให้การได้ยินความจริงตั้งมั่น.
