(มนตร์คลายพันธะ) โอ้เหล่าเทพ ความผิดต่อเทพใด ๆ ที่พวกเรา—ผู้เป็นเทพ—ได้กระทำแล้ว โอ้อาทิตยะ (Ādityas) ทั้งหลาย ขอท่านจงปลดปล่อยพวกเราจากสิ่งนั้น ด้วยฤตะ (ṛta) คือระเบียบศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ด้วยพลังแห่งระเบียบนั้น

พวกเรา ผู้ประกอบยัญญะ (yajamāna) แม้มีเนยใสอันอุดม ใช้ทัพพี (sruc) รินฆีลงบูชาไฟ (juhvati) ก็ยัง—โอเทพทั้งปวง—มิได้ปรนนิบัติท่านให้ถูกต้อง; หรือทำไปโดยไร้เจตนาอันชอบ. เพราะฉะนั้น เมื่อท่านทรงชี้แก้เราแล้ว โปรดปลดเปลื้องพันธะแห่งความผิดนั้น.
