Proposal for Rāma’s Installation as Heir-Apparent
युनक्त्यर्थैः प्रहृष्टश्च तमसौ यत्र तुष्यति।।2.2.46।।शान्तै स्सर्वप्रजाकान्तैः प्रीतिसञ्जननैर्नृणाम्।गुणैर्विरुरुचे रामो दीप्त स्सूर्य इवांशुभिः।।2.2.47।।
yunakty arthaiḥ prahṛṣṭaś ca tam asau yatra tuṣyati | śāntaiḥ sarvaprajākāntaiḥ prītisañjananair nṛṇām | guṇair viruruce rāmo dīptaḥ sūrya ivāṃśubhiḥ || 2.2.46-47 ||
ఆయన సంతోషించినప్పుడు, ఆనందంతో సంపదలను ప్రసాదిస్తాడు. సకల ప్రజలకు ఇష్టమైన, మానవులకు ఆనందాన్ని కలిగించే శాంత గుణములతో, కిరణాలతో ప్రకాశించే సూర్యుని వలె రాముడు విరాజిల్లుతున్నాడు.
When pleased, Rama bestows wealth. Like the Sun shining with his rays, He shines with his qualities of tranquil, charming and loving nature.
