परी॒दं वासो॑ अधिथाः स्व॒स्तयेऽभू॑र्गृष्टी॒नाम॑भिशस्ति॒पा उ॑ । श॒तं च॒ जीव॑ श॒रदः॑ पुरू॒ची रा॒यश्च॒ पोष॑मुप॒संव्य॑यस्व

párī́daṁ vā́so adhithāḥ svastáye ’bhū́r gṛṣṭīnā́m abhiśastipā́ u | śatáṁ ca jī́va śarádaḥ purūcī́ rā́yaś ca póṣam upasaṁvyáyasva

Round thee this garment hast thou put for welfare; thou hast become, verily, the herds’ protector from imprecation. Live thou a hundred years, yea many autumns; and wealth and thriving—wrap them close about thee.

స్వస్తి (కల్యాణం) కోసం నీవు ఈ వస్త్రాన్ని నీ చుట్టూ ధరించావు; నీవు, నిశ్చయంగా, పశుగుంపులను శాపం/అభిశాపం నుండి కాపాడే రక్షకుడవయ్యావు. నీవు వంద సంవత్సరాలు జీవించు—అనేక శరదృతువులు; అలాగే ధనం మరియు పోషణం/సమృద్ధి—వాటినీ నీ చుట్టూ బిగిగా చుట్టుకో.
