Varāha
It situates an ethical exemplum within a named urban center (Ujjayinī), reflecting how Purāṇas anchor moral discourse in recognizable cultural geographies.
Ujjayinī—generally identified with modern Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh), a major historic city in Sanskrit literature.
The verse frames ‘sadācāra’ as a defining standard; neglect of reverence and respect is presented as a marker of ethical decline.
