Translation

परमात्मेति—देहादेः परतरत्वात् ब्रह्मैव; देहादि-समस्तोपाधिभ्यः परं यत्, तत् परमात्मा, स एव ब्रह्म॥७॥

Academic Translation

And (it is called) ‘the Supreme Self’ because it is higher than the body and the rest; it is Brahman alone.
