शं रोदसी सुबन्धवे यह्वी ऋतस्य मातरा । भरतामप यद्रपो द्यौः पृथिवि क्षमा रपो मो षु ते किं चनाममत् ॥
Transliteration
śáṃ rodasī́ su-bandhave yahvī́ ṛ́tasya mā́tarā | bháratām ápa yád rápō dyaúḥ pṛthivi kṣámā rápō mó ṣú te kíṃ canā́mamat ||
Translation
द्यावापृथिव्यौ ते शं सुबन्धवे स्ताम्—यह्व्यौ ऋतस्य मातरौ। अप यद्रपः पीडां च भरताम्; हे द्यौः, हे पृथिवि, हे क्षमा, अऋतस्य किंचनामत् ते मा स्पृशत्।
