Sukta 4

आज्यं बिभर्ति घृ॒तम॑स्य॒ रेतः॑ साह॒स्रः पोष॒स्तमु॑ य॒ज्ञमा॑हुः । इन्द्र॑स्य रू॒पमृ॑ष॒भो वसा॑नः॒ सो अ॒स्मान् दे॑वाः शि॒व ऐतु॑ द॒त्तः

ā́jyaṃ bibhar­ti ghṛtám asyá rétaḥ sāhasráḥ póṣas tám u yajñám āhuḥ | índrasya rūpám ṛṣabhó vásānaḥ só asmā́n devā́ḥ śivá étu dattáḥ

The ājya bears ghee as its seed: thousandfold nourishment—so, indeed, they call that a sacrifice. Wearing Indra’s form, a bull, may he—bestowed—come to us, O Gods, auspicious.
