आ मन्द्रस्य सनिष्यन्तो वरेण्यं वृणीमहे अह्रयं वाजमृग्मियम् । रातिं भृगूणामुशिजं कविक्रतुमग्निं राजन्तं दिव्येन शोचिषा ॥

ā mandrásya saniṣyántaḥ váreṇyaṃ vṛṇīmahe áhrayaṃ vā́jam ṛgmíyam | rātíṃ bhṛgūṇām uśíjaṃ kaví-kratum agníṃ rājántaṃ divyéna śocíṣā ||

ଆନନ୍ଦର ଲାଭକୁ ଆକାଂକ୍ଷା କରି ଆମେ ସର୍ବାଧିକ ବରେଣ୍ୟକୁ ବାଛୁ—ଅଗ୍ନିକୁ: ଅଭ୍ରାନ୍ତ, ବାଣୀଦ୍ୱାରା ସ୍ତୁତ ବଳର ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣତା; ଭୃଗୁମାନଙ୍କର ଦାନ, ଉଶିଜ (ଉତ୍ସୁକ ଜ୍ୱାଳା), କବି-କ୍ରତୁ (ଦର୍ଶୀ-ଇଚ୍ଛା), ଦିବ୍ୟ ଶୋଚିଷରେ ଦ୍ୟୁତିମାନ।
