Sukta 1.52
आ यं पृणन्ति दिवि सद्मबर्हिषः समुद्रं न सुभ्वः स्वा अभिष्टयः । तं वृत्रहत्ये अनु तस्थुरूतयः शुष्मा इन्द्रमवाता अह्रुतप्सवः ॥
ā́ yáṃ pṛṇánti diví sadmábarhiṣaḥ samudráṃ ná subhvàḥ svā́ abhíṣṭayaḥ | táṃ vṛtrahátye ánu tasthur ūtáyaḥ śúṣmā índram avā́tā ahrútapsavaḥ ||
ଯାହାଙ୍କୁ ଦିବ୍ୟ ସଦନର ବାସିନ୍ଦାମାନେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗରେ ପରିପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରନ୍ତି—ସମୁଦ୍ର ସମ—ନିଜ ଦ୍ରୁତ-ତେଜସ୍ବୀ ଅଭିଷ୍ଟୟଃ (ସିଦ୍ଧି-ଇଚ୍ଛା)ଦ୍ୱାରା। ସେଇ ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରଙ୍କୁ ବୃତ୍ରହତ୍ୟାରେ ଅନୁସରି ଊତୟଃ (ସହାୟ-ଶକ୍ତି) ଦଣ୍ଡାୟମାନ ହେଲେ—ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରଙ୍କ ଚାରିପାଖେ ଶୁଷ୍ମାଃ (ବଳର ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡ ପ୍ରାଣ), ଉତ୍ସାହରେ ଅଶ୍ରାନ୍ତ, ତପରେ ଅକ୍ଲାନ୍ତ।
