ଶତ୍ରୁନାଶ ପାଇଁ, ଉଦିତ ହୋଇ, ତିନି ଆଗକୁ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ କଲେ—ବ୍ୟାଘ୍ର (ବାଘ), ପୁରୁଷ, ବୃକ (ଓଲ୍ଫ/ଭେଡ଼ିଆ)। ‘ହିରୁକ୍!’ ବୋଲି ସିନ୍ଧବଃ (ନଦୀମାନେ) ଧାଉଛନ୍ତି; ‘ହିରୁକ୍!’ ଦେବ—ବନସ୍ପତି (ବନର ସ୍ୱାମୀ); ‘ହିରୁକ୍!’ ବୋଲି ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ନମନ୍ତୁ।

ଦୂର ପଥେ ବୃକ (ଓଲ୍ଫ/ଭେଡ଼ିଆ) ଚାଲିଯାଉ; ଅତିଦୂର ପଥେ—ହଁ—ଚୋର ମଧ୍ୟ। ଦୂର ପଥେ ଦନ୍ତବତୀ ରଜ୍ଜୁ (ଫାସ) ପାର ହେଉ; ଦୂର ପଥେ ଦୁଷ୍ଟ-ଇଚ୍ଛାବାନ ଦୌଡ଼ି ଅପସରିଯାଉ।

मू॒र्णा मृ॒गस्य॒ दन्ता॒ अपि॑शीर्णा उ पृ॒ष्टयः॑ । नि॒म्रुक्ते॑ गो॒धा भ॑वतु नी॒चाय॑च्छश॒युर्मृ॒गः
ମୃଗର ଦାନ୍ତ ଭାଙ୍ଗିଯାଉ, ଏବଂ ତାହାର ପିଠିର ହାଡ଼ (ବଳ) ମଧ୍ୟ ଚୁର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇଯାଉ। ଗୁପ୍ତ ନିମ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନରେ କେବଳ ଗୋଧା (ଟିକଟି) ହେଉ; ମୃଗକୁ ତଳକୁ ଦବାଇ ରଖ—ସେ ଉପୁରି ପଡ଼ି ଶୁଇ ରହୁ।

ଯାହା ବନ୍ଧନ ହେଉଛି, ତଥାପି ବନ୍ଧନ ନୁହେଁ; ଯାହା ମୁକ୍ତି—ହଁ, ମୁକ୍ତି—ଯାହା କୌଣସି ବନ୍ଧନ ନୁହେଁ: ଇନ୍ଦ୍ରଜ, ସୋମଜ, ତୁମେ ଆଥର୍ବଣିକ, ବ୍ୟାଘ୍ର-ଜମ୍ଭନ—ବାଘକୁ ଚୁର୍ଣ୍ଣ କରୁଥିବା।
