Sukta 1.49
सुपेशसं सुखं रथं यमध्यस्था उषस्त्वम् । तेना सुश्रवसं जनं प्रावाद्य दुहितर्दिवः ॥
supéśasaṃ sukháṃ ráthaṃ yám adhyásthā uṣas tvám | ténā suśrávasaṃ jánam práva adyá duhitar divaḥ ||
Di atas kereta yang elok terbentuk dan membahagiakan, yang engkau naiki, wahai Uṣas; dengannya, pada hari ini majukanlah insan kepada pendengaran yang baik dan kemasyhuran yang benar. Wahai puteri Langit, peliharalah dan pimpinlah kami ke hadapan.
