सा दृष्ट्वा तान् तदा देवान् भयत्रस्तान् विचेतसः । मा भैष्टेत्युच्चकैर्देवी तानुवाच सुरोत्तमान् ॥

ദേവി അപ്പോൾ ഭയത്താൽ തളർന്നും മനസ്സു കലങ്ങിയുമിരുന്ന ദേവന്മാരെ കണ്ടു, ശ്രേഷ്ഠ സുരന്മാരോട് ഉച്ചത്തിൽ പറഞ്ഞു—“ഭയപ്പെടരുത്।”
