Agastya’s Vision of Varuṇa as Nārāyaṇa in Ilāvṛta
Unspecified (defaults to primary dialogue framework: Varāha as instructor-voice)
It reflects a widely attested Purāṇic and Dharmaśāstric cultural norm: the ethical obligation to receive a guest—especially a learned visitor—with respect and care, framing hospitality as a marker of cultivated social order.
No geographic location is specified in this verse fragment; it focuses on interpersonal conduct within a narrative setting.
The verse foregrounds the principle of ātithya (guest-hospitality): requesting the visitor to remain and offering to perform appropriate acts of welcome and care.
