Dharma Across the Four Yugas, the Disruption of Social Conduct, and Ritual Purification from Varṇa-Mixing Transgressions
अथवा पररूपं यो वेद ब्राह्मणपुङ्गवः । वेदाध्यायी पापशतैः कृतैरपि न लिप्यते ॥ ६८.१९ ॥
athavā pararūpaṃ yo veda brāhmaṇapuṅgavaḥ | vedādhyāyī pāpaśataiḥ kṛtair api na lipyate || 68.19 ||
അല്ലെങ്കിൽ പരരൂപം അറിയുകയും വേദാധ്യയനത്തിൽ നിഷ്ഠയുള്ളവനുമായ ബ്രാഹ്മണശ്രേഷ്ഠൻ, ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള നൂറുകണക്കിന് പാപങ്ങളാലും മലിനനാകുന്നില്ല.
