यद्यत्कुर्वन्ति ते कर्म सर्वत्र क्षयभागिनः ॥ सत्यमन्विष्यमाणाश्च नैव ते कीर्त्तिभागिनः
yadyat kurvanti te karma sarvatra kṣayabhāginaḥ || satyam anviṣyamāṇāś ca naiva te kīrtibhāginaḥ
അവർ ചെയ്യുന്ന ഏതു പ്രവൃത്തിയും എല്ലായിടത്തും നഷ്ടത്തിന്റേതാകുന്നു; സത്യം അന്വേഷിച്ചാലും അവർക്കു സ്ഥിരകീർത്തിയിൽ പങ്കില്ല।
