वादित्रगीतस्वनतालयुक्ता गायन्ति नार्यः सहिताः सदा हि ॥ कन्याकुलानां मृदुभाषितानि मनोहराणां च वनेषु तेषु ॥
vāditra-gīta-svana-tāla-yuktā gāyanti nāryaḥ sahitāḥ sadā hi || kanyākulānāṃ mṛdu-bhāṣitāni manoharāṇāṃ ca vaneṣu teṣu ||
വാദ്യങ്ങളുടെയും ഗാനത്തിന്റെയും സ്വര-താളങ്ങളോടുകൂടി സ്ത്രീകൾ ഒരുമിച്ച് എപ്പോഴും പാടുന്നു. ആ വനങ്ങളിൽ കന്യാകുലങ്ങളുടെ മൃദുവായ, മനോഹരമായ വാക്കുകൾ മുഴങ്ങുന്നു.
