dvijānāṁ prīṇanaṁ kṛtvā svadhānnapṭubhojanaiḥ || lavaṇasya vadhād eva śatrughnasya śarīrike ||

സ്വന്തം അന്നസമ്പത്തിൽ നിന്നൊരുക്കിയ പോഷകവും രുചികരവുമായ ഭക്ഷണങ്ങളാൽ ദ്വിജന്മാരെ തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുത്തി—ഇത് ശരീരധാരിയായ ശത്രുഘ്നന്റെ ചരിതത്തിൽ ലവണവധവുമായി തന്നെ ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു।
