Varāha (default narrative voice; speaker not explicit in fragment)
It illustrates a standard Purāṇic narrative motif: a named figure approaches the devas and performs formal obeisance to Indra, reflecting courtly protocol and the literary portrayal of divine authority in early Sanskrit mythic historiography.
No specific geographic toponym is stated in this verse; it references movement to “the gods” (surān), implying a divine realm rather than a historically mappable location.
The verse foregrounds respectful address and acknowledgment of authority (namaścakre), presenting deference and proper conduct in an audience setting as a cultural-ethical norm within the narrative.
