परिष्वज्य हि धर्मेण व्याजेन च सुगोपितम् ॥ मातलिस्तत्र चागत्य देवैरुक्तं यथोदितम् ॥

ധർമ്മപ്രകാരം ആലിംഗനം ചെയ്ത്, ഒരു വ്യാജകാരണം കൊണ്ടു കാര്യം നന്നായി മറച്ചു. തുടർന്ന് മാതലി അവിടെ എത്തി; ദേവന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ വാക്ക് പ്രസ്താവിക്കപ്പെട്ടു.
