Varāha
It preserves a directional micro-geography (“west of Mathurā”) typical of tīrtha catalogues, valuable for mapping historical pilgrimage networks.
A sacred site located on the western side of Mathurā; the specific tīrtha-name is clarified in the subsequent verse as Mānasatīrtha.
It emphasizes niyama (regulated conduct) as the qualifying condition for ritual efficacy.
