देवर्षिनारदं पश्येन्मोदते तेन वै समम् ॥ अथात्र मुञ्चते प्राणान्मम गुह्यविनिश्चितः ॥
devarṣināradaṃ paśyen modate tena vai samam || athātra muñcate prāṇān mama guhyaviniścitaḥ ||
ദേവർഷി നാരദനെ ദർശിക്കണം, അവനോടു സമമായി ആനന്ദിക്കണം; പിന്നെ ഇവിടെ പ്രാണങ്ങളെ വിട്ടൊഴിയുന്നു—ഇതാണ് എന്റെ ഗുഹ്യനിശ്ചയം.
