The Sacred Greatness of Sānandūra
dharaṇy uvāca || aho deva prasādaś ca yat tvayā parikīrtitam || śrutvaitat paramaṃ puṇyaṃ prāptāsmi paramāṃ śriyam
Pṛthivī / Dharaṇī (Vasundharā)
It demonstrates the Purāṇic pedagogical motif where listening to māhātmya discourse is itself presented as culturally meritorious, reinforcing oral-textual transmission.
No new location is named in this verse; it responds to the previously narrated greatness (māhātmya) associated with Dvārakā.
The verse elevates receptive learning and gratitude as ethical dispositions within the dialogue: valuing instruction and acknowledging beneficence.
