मत्तेजसा ताडिताक्षः शनैरुन्मील्य लोचने ॥ यावत्पश्यति मां तत्र स्तुवन्स तपसान्वितः ॥
mat-tejasā tāḍitākṣaḥ śanair unmīlya locane || yāvat paśyati māṃ tatra stuvan sa tapasānvitaḥ ||
എന്റെ തേജസ്സാൽ ബാധിതമായ അവന്റെ കണ്ണുകൾ അവൻ പതുക്കെ തുറന്നു; അവിടെ എത്രനേരം എന്നെ കണ്ടുനിന്നുവോ അത്രനേരം തപസ്സോടെ സ്തുതിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു।
