तर्पयेत्स्वपितॄंश्चापि तारयित्वा दिवं नयेत्॥ स्वयं मम प्रियो भूत्वा ब्रह्मलोके गमिष्यति॥
tarpayet svapitṝṁś cāpi tārayitvā divaṁ nayet || svayaṁ mama priyo bhūtvā brahmaloke gamiṣyati ||
അവൻ തന്റെ പിതൃകളെയും തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുത്തും; അവരെ ഉദ്ധരിച്ച് സ്വർഗത്തിലേക്ക് നയിക്കും. സ്വയം എനിക്ക് പ്രിയനായിട്ട് ബ്രഹ്മലോകത്തിലേക്ക് ഗമിക്കും॥
