मातङ्गं नाम विख्यातं तस्मिन्क्षेत्रे परं मम॥ स्रोतॊ वहति तत्रैव आश्रितं कौशिकीं नदीम्॥
mātaṅgaṃ nāma vikhyātaṃ tasminkṣetre paraṃ mama || sroto vahati tatraiva āśritaṃ kauśikīṃ nadīm
ആ ക്ഷേത്രഭൂമിയിൽ ‘മാതംഗ’ എന്ന പ്രസിദ്ധമായ, എനിക്ക് പരമപ്രിയമായ സ്ഥലം ഉണ്ട്. അവിടെയേ കൌശികീ നദിയോട് ബന്ധമുള്ള ഒരു സ്രോതസ് ഒഴുകുന്നു.
