तस्य पुत्रो महाभागः सर्वधर्मेषु निष्ठितः ॥ सोमदत्तेति विख्यातः कुमारः शुभलक्षणः
tasya putro mahābhāgaḥ sarvadharmeṣu niṣṭhitaḥ || somadatteti vikhyātaḥ kumāraḥ śubhalakṣaṇaḥ
അവന്റെ പുത്രൻ മഹാഭാഗ്യവാൻ, എല്ലാ ധർമ്മങ്ങളിലും നിഷ്ഠയുള്ളവൻ ആയിരുന്നു. ‘സോമദത്തൻ’ എന്ന പേരിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധനായ ആ യുവാവ് ശുഭലക്ഷണങ്ങളാൽ യുക്തനായിരുന്നു.
