Prescriptions for Expiation of Offences: Red/Black Garments, Improper Touch in Darkness, Impure Leftovers, Eating Boar-Meat, and Consuming Jālapāda

एकाहारं ततः कृत्वा दिनानि दश सप्त च ॥ वायुभक्षस्त्रीण्यहानि दिनमेकं जलाशनः ॥

ekāhāraṃ tataḥ kṛtvā dināni daśa sapta ca || vāyubhakṣas trīṇy ahāni dinam ekaṃ jalāśanaḥ ||

അതിനുശേഷം ഏകാഹാരം (ദിവസത്തിൽ ഒരിക്കൽ മാത്രം ഭക്ഷണം) ചെയ്ത് പതിനേഴു ദിവസം ഇരിക്കണം; മൂന്ന് ദിവസം വായുഭക്ഷനായി (ഉപവാസം) ഇരിച്ച്, ഒരു ദിവസം ജലാഹാരം മാത്രം സ്വീകരിക്കണം.
