त्रिकालं च दिशो भागं सदा कर्मपथि स्थितः ॥ उपपन्नानभुञ्जानः कर्माण्यभोजनानि च ॥

ത്രികാലവും ദിശാവിഭാഗങ്ങളും അനുസരിച്ച്, സദാ നിയതകർമ്മപഥത്തിൽ നിലകൊണ്ട്, അവൻ അനുപപന്നമായതു ഭക്ഷിക്കുകയില്ല; ഉപവാസം ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന അനുഷ്ഠാനങ്ങളും ചെയ്യുന്നു।
