Avadhuta Upanishad 19 — Verse 19

विपर्यस्तो निदिध्यासे किं ध्यानमविपर्यये । देहात्मत्वविपर्यासं न कदाचिद्भजाम्यहम् ॥१९॥

विपर्यस्तः । निदिध्यासे । किम् । ध्यानम् । अविपर्यये । देह-आत्मत्व-विपर्यासम् । न । कदाचित् । भजामि । अहम् ॥१९॥

viparyasto nididhyāse kiṃ dhyānam aviparyaye | dehātmatvaviparyāsaṃ na kadācid bhajāmy aham ||19||

വിപരീതഭ്രമത്തിലുള്ളവൻ നിദിധ്യാസനം ചെയ്യുന്നു; അവിപരീതനു ധ്യാനം എന്ത്? ദേഹത്തെ ആത്മാവെന്നു കരുതുന്ന വിപര്യാസം ഞാൻ ഒരിക്കലും ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നില്ല.

One who is inverted (in error) engages in nididhyāsana; what meditation is there for one who is not inverted? I never resort to the inversion of taking the body as the Self.
