páv asva gojíd aśvajíd viśvajít soma raṇyajít | prajā́vad rátnam ā́ bhara ||

Translation

പവിത്രനാകുക, ഹേ സോമ—ഗോജിത് (കിരണ-ഗോങ്ങളുടെ ജയകൻ), അശ്വജിത് (പ്രാണബല-അശ്വങ്ങളുടെ ജയകൻ), വിശ്വജിത് (സകല അസ്തിത്വത്തിന്റെ ജയകൻ), രണ്യജിത് (ആനന്ദത്തിന്റെ ജയകൻ); പ്രജാസമൃദ്ധമായ രത്നനിധി ഞങ്ങളിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവരിക.
