प्र वाजमिन्दुरिष्यति सिषासन्वाजसा ऋषिः । व्रता विदान आयुधा ॥

prá vā́jam índur iṣyati sísāsan vāja-sā́ ṛ́ṣiḥ | vratā́ vidāná ā́yudhā ||

ഇന്ദു വാജ (ബലത്തിന്റെ പൂർണ്ണത)യിലേക്കു മുന്നേറുന്നു; ആ ശക്തിയെ ആഗ്രഹിച്ച്, വാജ-വിജയിയായ ഋഷി—വ്രത (നിയമങ്ങൾ) അറിയുന്നവൻ—പ്രവൃത്തിക്കായി ആയുധം ധരിക്കുന്നു.
